How the Site Works

The main function of the LawNet Solicitors website is to provide our users with useful information on common legal problems. We realise that some problems require specific advice from solicitors which is why we provide the option to contact one of the LawNet firms for more information if you don't find what you're after on the LawNet Solicitors website.

Using the LawNet Solicitors Q&A section

The legal Q&As are broken down into Personal and Business law categories. To select the option that's appropriate for you select either the blue 'Personal Legal Issues' or the orange 'Business Legal Issues' buttons on the home page or on the left side of other pages.

Legal Categories

Once you have selected Personal or Business law you will be presented with a list of advice categories on the left side of the screen. These are used to break our information down into the most common legal areas. Select the category that is most appropriate to your situation.

Q&A subcategories

After selecting a category you will be presented with a list of Q&A subcategories on the left side of the screen. You can use these links to display a number of questions per subcategory.

Questions and Answers

Look through the questions that are displayed for your chosen subcategory. Once you find those that are likely to help you, click on the question to reveal the relevant answer.

Contacting a law firm for more information

In a lot of cases the answer should provide you with some helpful information but if you'd like to get some more specific legal advice you can click on the 'Need more help? Find a law firm' button. This will take you through to a new page which gives you the option to contact a LawNet law firm by first selecting a preferred location for your firm.

Sending your enquiry

Once you have selected a location for your firm you will be given the opportunity to complete a short form with your information including a description of your legal problem. This information will be securely passed to the law firm that you have selected and you should receive a response back within 48 hours of your enquiry.
